Nikola Tesla
Date of birth: 09.07.1856 [Smiljan (Croatia)]
Date of deth: 07.01.1943 [New York].
The physicist, electrical engineer, inventor. The founder of industrial application of an alternating current and radio
transmitting on ling distances. He has studied and described standing electromagnetic waves, constructed and tested
high-voltage, high-frequency generators. He also had significant works in the fields of applied aeromechanics
(turbine of Tesla) and mechanics of deformable bodies (resonator of Tesla).

Experiments of N.Tesla
The experimental tower has been constructed in 1901 near to small town Wardenclyffe (nowadays Shoreham) on island Long
Island in Atlantic ocean, at coast USA, near a mouth of the river Hudson.
« Night has suddenly turned to day. It is dazzling bright flashes of electric plasma which length exceeded hundreds miles,
have connected spherical dome Wardenclyffe to the sky. Fire was observed in the sky not only above New York, but also above
all extensive space of Atlantic ocean».
“New Sun”, 16.06.1903
« We at all will not have necessity to transport energy. Not many generations will be replaced when our mechanisms will be
actuated by the energy received in any point of the universe. Energy penetrates all space … »
"Experiments With Alternate Currents Of High Potential And High Frequency" (February 1892)”
«The scientist is not aimed at immediate result. He does not expect
that his progressive ideas will be immediately perceived.
His work is comparable to work of the gardener - work on the future.
His duty - to lay the foundation for the future generations and to
specify a way. He lives, works and hopes.»
